What is renting?
Renting: what exactly is it? What are the advantages and when is it interesting for your company? We are happy to explain it to you.
When you acquire a van with a renting formula, you pay a monthly instalment consisting of two parts:
1. A first part to rent the vehicle so you can start using it right away.
2. Another part to eventually acquire the vehicle.
At the end of the agreement, you can become the owner of your brand new van by paying the remaining sum. In other words, financial renting is a type of spread installment.
Typically, a renting contract has a term of around 24 or 48 months. At the start of the contract, a monthly instalment is set by mutual agreement. This takes into account a certain minimum budget. Have you noticed that you have more financial room? Then you can choose to increase the monthly instalment during the contract period. However, you can also choose to lower the installment amount. This is possible as long as you don't go below the minimum budget.
- Financial breathing room: you spread the cost of your acquisition.
- Unlike leasing, the van can be all yours at the end of the term.
- You can drive as many kilometres as you want. Do keep in mind the recommended monthly amount to keep the vehicle's performance optimal.
- Do you also use the van as a family car? A second or third person can also drive your van.
- We do not recommend subletting the vehicle.
- Our hire purchase formulas are only possible with a VAT number. Private individuals can therefore not apply for these.
- At the end of the term of the contract, the residual value will be determinant for the purchase of the van.
